Respir8MKE is more than breathwork—it’s nervous system mastery, emotional regulation, and deep healing through breath. Other breathwork offerings may solely focus on breath to bring the mind and body into rest. We dive into *how breath influences the nervous system, helping you shift emotional patterns, trauma responses, and stress dysregulation at the root.

Each session is designed to be transformative, immersive, and experiential. You’ll explore breath not just as a calming tool but as a way to rewire your nervous system, build resilience, and release stored tension in the body. Expect education, guided breathing techniques, and a space that allows you to connect deeply with yourself. Know that the relationship you will be working on is one of trust and safety within yourself and your own body. Breath journey work is very personal and while I cannot tell you exactly what you will experience, there are some physical, mental or emotional elements I can prepare you for.
Physically: breathwork can activate deep sensations, including tingling, muscle tightening or cramping, muscle twitching, cold extremities, tetany.
Emotionally: You do not have to relive the moment to heal, but you do have to feel. Breathwork is a space of safety, and you are always in control. If emotions arise, you have the choice to trust the process and ride the waves, or slow your breath, return to a nasal breath rhythm, and allow your nervous system to guide you. Every experience is valid.
Mentally: Breath work can be intense, if you have experienced a recent trauma, the style of breath you use is really important. Please make sure to share with me if you are in the acute stages of trauma.

Absolutely not! Breathwork is accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you're new to breath practices or already familiar, each session provides structured guidance, ensuring you feel confident, supported, and capable. The depth of your journey is your choice and will always be up to you to decide.

Your nervous system determines how you process emotions, handle stress, and feel safe in your body. If it’s dysregulated, healing can feel stagnant, exhausting, or just out of reach. Breathwork gives you direct access to nervous system regulation, unlocking deeper layers of healing.

Yes! Breathwork is journey work. This is a practice that builds over time. Some shifts can happen immediately, others integrate gradually. Consistency creates lasting change as the nervous system learns through repitition.
